"R v SoS, ex parte Gosforth Allotments & Garden Association and another" QBD 23 May 1995. The SoS`s interpretation of Smallholdings and Allotments Act 1908 s8, concerning the adequate provision for allotments holders on the disposal of land by the local authority was upheld. Alternative sites did not have to be as good as or better than the original allotment site.
