"Platform Home Loans Ltd v Oyston Shipways Ltd and others" ChD 29 July 1996. The plaintiff, lending funds to 70% on security of a residential property valued at £1.5m, is entitled to damages for overvaluation by defendant valuers, but is contributorily negligent to 20% in lending a high percentage on an expensive property.
