Energy saving in council homes - 1991 - DoE News Release (16) 9 January 1991 (4) .

The Environment Minister has announced that £45m will go to 77 more schemes in 1992/93 designed to improve the energy efficiency of council houses. The schemes, involving 65 local authorities, will be funded under the Government`s `Green house` programme, designed to demonstrate the application of energy efficiency measures in council housing.
