The DTp has rejected an ombudsman`s report which found that government should have compensated people in Kent whose homes were blighted by delays over the choice of the route for the Channel Tunnel rail link. The CA ruling ordering the DTp to purchase Retired Colonel Owen`s blighted home at its pre-blight price has also been ignored.
