"Beale v Worth" "King v Worth" "Reynolds v Worth" CA 12 July 1993 involved a long standing dispute over the lessor`s (W) refusal to assign a lease and W`s demand to be able to pay individual lessees by way of set off for payment made by insurance company for claim originally made by tenants` association. Held W`s withholding of consent to be unreasonable and the sum of money was owed to the residents` association jointly so that several debts of lessees could not be set off against refund. Appeals dismissed.
