In "Short`s Trustee v Keeper of the Registers of Scotland", First Division 5 November 1993, it was held that the Keeper of the Land Register is not obliged to register a decree reducing a transfer of land, as the appropriate course for the holder of the decree is to apply for rectification of the register.
