The BRE is to launch a green labelling scheme in April which will be used to assess the environmental effect of new buildings . Labelling will appear in the form of a certificate detailing the environmental criteria which the building has passed and when and by whom label was issued. According to a survey by Camargue Communications , two thirds of property developers and building owners are strongly in favour of green labelling for new buildings .
