A couple who purchased a Lake District home under planning conditions which stated occupation should be "by a person employed in the locality , a person employed in agriculture , a person employed in forestry", were found not guilty of breaching the conditions because they contended the comma after the word "locality" created three classes of potential owner, one being those employed locally.
