"Oldham BC v Attorney-general" CA 28 July 1992. With particular reference to Charities Act 1960 s13 and the interpretation of the `original purposes` of a charitable gift, the court held that the council was able to sell land, donated for the use of playing fields, since this activity could be continued on another site without loss of enjoyment to residents.
