- 1993
- Rating Appeals (1993) RA 224-228(3) .
LT 13 August 1993. An appeal by J against assessment of his shop`s rateable value on the grounds of nuisance from neighbouring agricultural activity, lack of garage and store, crime and vandalism and poor location. H argued that these factors were taken into account, were unverifiable or irrelevant, and the comparables cited were not valid. LT expressed sympathy for J`s circumstances but considered that only the claim of inferior location could be accepted and consequently reduced the valuation by 5%.
