In Staines Warehousing Co Ltd v Montague Executor & Trustee Co Ltd ,CA 30 April 1987, the CA dismissed an appeal by the tenant from a decision of Mr Justice Knox, who had held that the application of the landlord was not rendered void and of no effect by failure to complete all stages of the application in time.
