Discusses the recent case Minscombe Properties Ltd v Sir Alfred McAlpine & Son Ltd (1986) (See Abstract 36738) which concerned whether the owner of land on which a road contractor wrongfully dumped building spoil was entitled to the cost of removing the spoil or merely the depreciation in value of the land as a result of the wrongful dumping.
