Examines the policy instruments being applied in the arable sector under reforms of the Common Agricultural Policy, and criticises the disparities created within the artificial boundaries allocated for compensatory allowance. The study concludes that these policy reforms could distort the market for agricultural land in the long term and will require reassessment and adjustment if they are to be sustained. References.
