Plans to open the London Docklands light rail extension to Bank station on 1 July will complete the first stage of a programme designed to transform the toytown railway into one of the most advanced urban transit systems in the world. Network South East `s Chiltern Line between Banbury in Oxfordshire and Marylebone has been updated with the introduction of Networker trains . Clearance has been given for an express rail link between Paddington and Heathrow airport.
