In Lees v Tatchell and another CA 1 February 1990 it was held that as the plaintiff landlord did not receive a notice in writing of a tenant `s death until after he had served a notice to quit under the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 Schedule 3 Case G , he was entitled to possession .
