In R v East Hertfordshire DC , ex parte Dallhold Resources Management (UK) Pty Ltd QBD 25 October 1989 it was held that an application for re-housing under the Rent (Agriculture) Act 1976 was intended to be placed in a special category and a local authority was wrong to have assessed and treated the applicant as no different from others on its housing list.
