CA 16 June 1993. Appeal by landlord (D) against CC`s refusal to grant a possession order although alternative accommodation had been offered to tenant P. D argued that environmental conditions should be given less weight when a possession order is made under the Rent Act 1977 Sch 15 Part IV para 5(1)a rather than 5(1)b. CA held that environmental considerations are important when assessing suitability of alternative accommodation.
