In "Re 51 Bennington Road, Aston" ChD 13 July 1993, it was held that the tenants of premises for the residue of "the term or several terms of 500 years" were entitled to purchase the freehold under Leasehold Reform Act 1967 s27, notwithstanding ignorance of the identity of the reversioner and the exact terms of the lease.
