"Hambros Leasing Ltd v Weatherall Green & Smith" QBD 21 February 1997. Company purchasing hotel and financing purchase of hotel`s chattels. Plaintiff financing purchase of hotel`s leases. Plaintiff instructed defendant to carry out valuation and granted underlease to company. Due to company running into financial difficulties, the plaintiff sold leases for a loss. Debate over whether defendant was instructed to value hotel`s leases only or the hotel as a going concern. Plaintiff`s claim dismissed.
