Guidelines on how companies should prepare for the revaluation of non-domestic property in 1990. The first important date is October 1987 when rent return forms will be sent out. Stresses the importance of seeking professional advice when filling in the forms. Lists as other important dates: 1) 1 April 1988, all property will be valued at this date 2) 1 January 1990, when the Valuation List may be inspected, and 3) 1 April 1990, Valuation List assessments will be made effective; appeals against assessments may be made.
