LT 31 October 1996. Appellant freehold owner of a block of flats let on 99 year leases with rising ground rents. Under the leases B was obliged to insure the flats and recover the premiums under the service charge provisions. Lessees gave notice to acquire the freehold and LVT set price at £11,750. B appealed, contending price should include value of right to receive commission on insurance premiums. Appeal allowed.
