DOE has published a consultation paper discussing wide ranging planning guidance including updating PPG1, access for disabled, crime prevention and design. Takes into account environmental commitments laid down in "This Common Inheritance" (HMSO £14.50) and includes some of the changes introduced by the Planning and Compensation Act 1991.
