LT 14 March 1997. W applied for the change of use of her house for a bed and breakfast establishment. The property had originally been sold subject to a covenant prohibiting trade or business use. The district council and other neighbouring freeholders objected to the application, contending that the restriction provided valuable practical benefits. Application allowed.
