ChD 7 February 1997. The defendant landlord wished to redevelop a property. Sent letter to plaintiff which contained a notice under Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 s25 and the terminating break clause of the lease. Plaintiff claimed the notice was invalid since the notice relied on s30(1)f of the Act. The application by the tenants claiming break clause was invalid was dismissed.
