Summary of a report by CIB and RILEM on the use of elastomeric,thermoplastic and polymer-modified bitumen for low-slope roofs . The major emphasis of the report is an identification of test procedures and criteria which can provide a basis for performance documents. A survey was first conducted to establish use and experience of elastomeric and polymeric roofing materials among thirteen countries. Properties which would be important to the performance of these materials were considered and a set of test procedures developed from these. Appendices of results of studies.
