Y sought to quash the decision of the SoS confirming a compulsory purchase order for a bus station, required to improve public transport and provide an interchange between buses and trains. The application was refused and Y appealed, contending that the CPO had the effect of inhibiting competition and there was no power to purchase compulsorily a business undertaking. Appeal dismissed.
