According to a survey of 166 claims under the Leasehold Reform .. Act 1993, lvts are favouring tenants rather than landlords in assessing premiums payable for extended leases or freeholds enabling tenants, in the cases studied except one, to increase the value of their properties by almost twice the amount spent on premiums.
