The Councils of the Building Surveyors Division of the RICS and IAAS have accepted the findings of the working party set up in Autumn 1991 to forge closer co-operation between the two organizations. A joint steering group will oversee this development. In addition, another working party will investigate the terms under which exemptions may be granted to IAAS members wishing to joint the RICS. IAAS already allows full exemption to RICS members.
