Britton v Bristol City Council

Britton v Bristol City Council - 1994 - Rating & Valuation Reporter 34(4) RVR 1994, 80-81(2) .

LT 21 January 1994. A decision to determine the amount of compensation payable to the claimant, by the council, for the compulsory purchase of a house in a neglected condition. On the production of photographic evidence on behalf of the council of state of the property, and reference to the prices paid for the sale of seven other properties in the same road, the compensation payable to the claimant was determined at £25,000. No evidence was put forward by the claimant who was ordered to pay the council`s costs.
