Naturally ventilated buildings in urban locations can suffer from poor indoor air quality. Research suggests that varying the times when a building is ventilated might provide the answer. Ventilation occasions could be varied to avoid `polluted` periods and finding the optimum location for air inlets could avoid or reduce the need for filtration. Tables.
