"Adagio Properties Ltd v Ansari" CA 22 January 1998. Lease terms for a flat prohibited alterations without consent of landlord. Landlord found alterations made. Notice was served under Law of Property Act 1925 s146, but no particulars of relevant works were given. County Court hearing found breach of covenant terms. Judge found s146 notice defective. Landlord`s appeal allowed.
