LT 17 November 1997. Riding school, stable and premises was assessed at £9,500 rateable value. Ratepayers claimed that many of the buildings were in poor condition and required major repairs and that the VO`s comparison with premises occupied by other businesses was unsound because theirs was not suitable to let. Valuation officer defended the assessment. "Held" the assessment must be reduced to £7,600.
