"Watts v Savills", CA 16 June 1998. Plaintiff sold his share of inherited land to his brother for £70,000 - the agreed value by the defendant firm. Plaintiff`s brother sold it two years later to a property developer for £750,000. Judge found the defendant negligent for failing to recognise the land`s development potential. The defendant appealed. Appeal allowed.
