Arbitration mandatory in complaints procedure - 1998 - CSM (Chartered Surveyor Monthly) July/August 1998, 9(1) .

On 1 September 1998 the final stage of the new RICS complaints handling procedure will come into force. Arbitration will be compulsory for members when a complaint has not been resolved within the firm and the client chooses arbitration as an alternative to the courts.
