Considers whether it is a good idea to specify floor areas in rent review clauses. Although the `Code of measuring practice` should ensure that floor areas should be a matter of fact and not negotiation, changes in building construction and methods of valuation can lead to different interpretations of `net` and `gross` internal floor areas.
