Joint representation rules amended - 1998 - Law Society`s Gazette 95(37) 30 September 1998, 3(1) .

The Law Society Council has passed an amendment to Practice Rule 6 limiting solicitors responsibilities for joint representation in conveyancing transactions. The Council of Mortgage Lenders criticises the changes on the grounds that the costs of conveyancing transactions will increase.
