Hospital Plan Insurance Services Ltd v Persaud (VO) - 1998 - Rating Appeals [1998] RA 230-313(42) .

LT 30 April 1998. H appealed against a rateable value of £135,300 for premises in London W1. H supported an open market rental value of £300 by comparable evidence from other leases in the same building as well as neighbouring heriditaments, and a subsequent reduction to £280 for matters which detracted from the value. The VO referred to settlements with professional surveyors and evidence from similar buildings in the area to arrive at an OMR of £365, "Held" assessment must be reduced to £130,500.
