No market for quarry

No market for quarry - 1998 - Herald 17 November 1998, 5(1) .

Following research by the UK Committee of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature, conservation groups are claiming that demand for aggregates is falling and that there is no longer a need for `super-quarries`. The research has been rejected by Redland`s aggregates manager.
