"Michaels and another v Harley House (Marylebone) Ltd" CA 6 November 1998. Landlord accused ofevading duty to offer tenants first refusal on sale of a block of flats. A issue was whether the disposal was exempt as being in favour of an associated company. Judge found that the tenants were estopped by reason of their failure to pursue their rights with sifficient vigour. Tenants appealed. Appeal dismissed.
