Since the Law Society in 1984 relaxed its rules on solicitors ` selling property, well over 100 firms have begun to offer a one stop estate agency and conveyancing practice. This article looks at how the first of these, Langleys in Lincolnshire has fared over three years, and at a time when the Law Society are considering multidisciplinary partnerships . Also reports on the opinions of some solicitors who question this new role.
