"Wallis v Wallis" HL 22 July 1993 centred on the valuation of matrimonial property for a divorce case and whether it was competent to take into account the change in value of the property between the relevant date (date of separation) and the date of divorce. HL found that the division should be of the net value of the house at the relevant date.
