`Fair rent` tenants - 1998 - DETR News Release (1101) 17 December 1998 (3) .

The Housing Minister has announced new limits to fair rents by making an Order under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 s31. The measure will help fair rent tenants hit by very high rent increases following recent court cases - "the Spath Holme" and "Curtis" decisions.
