The Rating (Valuation) Bill 1999 amends the Local Government Finance Act 1988 to ensure that property in England and Wales subject to domestic rating is valued consistently on the assumption that it is in a reasonable state of repair. Reverses "Benjamin V Anston Properties" LT 1998 (See Abs58803).
