Discusses the CA decision in "Barrett v Morgan" which outlawed a scheme designed to avoid the statutory protection for agricultural tenants under the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986. Unlike residential and business tenancies, the 1986 does not give a subtenant protection against the head landlord.
