SEPA pushes for tighter controls on land spreading of wastes - 1998 - ENDS Report (286) November 1998, 36-37(2) .

The Scottish Environment Protection Agency has called for new controls on the spreading of organic waste on farmland. The recommendations cover all organic wastes, including agricultural and industrial waste and sewage sludge, and would require landowners to produce management plans.
