The Thaumasite Expert Group has published its findings on the risk posed by the thaumasite form of sulphate attack on concrete in buildings. The main conclusion is that it is no threat to public safety and only presents a small risk to concrete in buildings. Recommends further research on outstanding issues. BRE digest 363 is to be amended.
