The Environmental Audit Committee has published a report on the Multilateral Agreement on Investement. They found that the MAI process does not reflect Rio commitments on sustainable development and the integration of the environment into policy making, and poses a risk to the conduct of environmental regulation. They consider it has been badly handled by the government.
