The Leasehold Enfranchisement Association says that agents are refusing to sell flats with leases of less than 70 years. The association is calling for reorganisation of the Leasehold Valuation Tribunals so that those serving on them have enough time to understand the evidence of those seeking lease extension or enfranchisement, without need for professional representation.
