The government is to publish a housing policy green paper this year aimed at ensuring everyone has the opportunity of a decent home. It will look at: giving tenants real choice over their housing; restructuring social rents to strengthen links with size, location and condition of properties; and the possibility of wider reforms to the system of personal housing support.
