Agents slip through ombudsman`s net - 1999 - Property Week 1 April 1999, 21(1) .

The estate agents' ombudsman received 3,541 complaints last year, but could deal with less than half of them because they related to agents who did not belong to the voluntary Ombudsman Scheme. Of those resolved, the ombudsman upheld 150 complaints and dismissed 140.
